Payton Get's Baptised

On June 28, 2008 Payton was Baptised. The church was filled with friends and family, it was sunny and warm outside, and Pastor Jeff's sermon was touching.

Payton was so good through church, she only "sang" a few times.

MiMi kept her occupied and gave her a little pep talk before Church.

Payton watched and listened as Pastor Jeff explained why there is Baptism and what it means.

Then when Pastor Jeff was putting the holy water on her head, she wanted the whole bowl of water. So it's not just the pool and the lake she wants to swim in, but the Baptism water too! She was good almost the whole time we were up there. Until the choir started singing and then she spit her paci across church so she could "sing" too.

Our best friends, Chad & Arin Griffin are Payton's god parents. She's one lucky girl to have such a sweet Godmother and such a silly Godfather.

Grammy, Papa, Mimi & RL were there. Good thing they kept P occupied during Service. She is one noisy kid in church. Well, really all the time.

Grandma Kathy, Grandpa John, Grandma J, Pop, Aunt Kenley and Grandma E. all came too. It was a crowd! Payton is one loved little girl.

It was a really nice service, and for the most part Payton was good. We were so happy to get to share this with our friends and family.

Afterwards we headed back to our house for lunch and cake, were more of our friends came to congratulate Payton.
