A Baby Cow.... He's Stuck in a Tree.....

Ahhhhhh, if I hear it one more time - I am going to trow the movie out! Just kidding!
But if you know what I am talking about (Wonder Pets) you feel my pain.
However, my child loves this movie! I know it's a TV show too, but I am too cheap to pay for anything other than basic cable - so we bought the DVD.
Here's P enjoying every minuet of the singing animals!

Two Years Ago Today!

Drew came home from Active Duty for good.
Five years ago this coming Saturday - he came home from his first Tour of Duty overseas.
I can't believe how time has flown! It's seems like yesterday.
Here's the only picture I could find of anything resembling this post. I just wanted to share with you how proud I am of my husband. He is a good man, a loving husband, a proud daddy, and a Veteran!
In light of the recent homecomings that have been going on in our communities, I wanted to share this - if you know someone who is serving in the military, did serve, or has family serving, let them know you appreciate all they did and are doing. It could have been any one of our friends or family serving in the military that those people were standing for. I am ever grateful to God that it was not my husband. But all the same I feel for those families that didn't get the chance to run down the jet way and hug their loved one who had been gone for months.
Thanks Drew - you are a HERO!
I know you hate when people say that to you, but your humbleness is part of the reason that you and everyone else who serves in the military really truly are HEROES!

Thanks Aunt Mimi!

So last week as me and Kimmie were in Wally-World (Walmart for those of you not schooled in WT talk) and we decided our lives would be so much easier if we weren't chasing Peeps trying to keep her out of every single thing on the floor! Mimi suggested - hey she doesn't so good in her walker at the lake and at Amy's let's get her one for the house.
I don't know why we hadn't gotten one for the house - I guess I just always thought she like being on the floor!
Boy was I wrong - this child practically runs in the walker. She chases the dogs, she chases me, she tries to pull everything within her reach to the floor.
And a BIG THANKS to Aunt Mimi for putting the thing together for us.!
Love you Aunt MiMi!

Yes, she really did put the whole thing together by herself!

And Voila - we have one pretty pink princess walker! It's not the fanciest- but hey who can beat $35 at wally-world and make one little girl very happy and very mobile!

Splish Splash I was Taking a Bath

And then I tried to climb out!!!!!!!
Notice how the water looks like it has waves in it - yeah - that's because when we get in the bath it's like a water park to Payton. The kid loves the water!
P.S. Now that we are finally old enough - we love to play with the letters that Aunt Kora gave us that stick up on the bathtub! Thanks Aunt Kora!

An Afternoon in the Park

Daddy was home early on Friday and Mommy left the office a few hours early. And we could think of no better way to spend our Friday afternoon then at the park.
It was a lot of fun, and we were very impressed with Senoia's park renovations.
First we tried out the swings. Which were defiantly my favorite part of the park. Every time daddy would push me I would giggle. I even kicked my feet like a big girl. I loved how the wind made my hair go Swoosh!

Then we tried out the froggy bouncy thing. (anybody know what this toy is really called?) I thought it was so fun - but I made sure daddy had a good hold of me so I wouldn't fall off.

Then we went down the slide a few times but I'm not too sure I like that yet.
It was a great day and not too hot and we had a lot of fun. So much fun that Daddy has decided to build me a swing set of my very own in my very own backyard.
*I'll have to post this later - the wood is up but no swings are on it yet.
