Cooper

Meet the newest member of the family! Cooper the Bischon!

Grammy brought him home last week and he is quickly becoming Payton's best friend! He is a sweet little doggie - and perfect for Grammy!

Just a Swingin'

Last week we headed out to the park .......
And attempted to teach Peeps how to pump her legs in and out on the swings!
Hope you laugh as hard as we did - because it was hilarious!

I don't think it can work on the baby swings!
Good try by Peeps though!

Ridin'

Have you noticed a pattern with my child? She likes FAST toys!

Uncle Chad rode over to our house on his T-Rex (for those of you saying what the heck is a T-Rex - it's like a golf cart mated with a four-wheeler).

And yes - we can now ride all the way through Senoia - thanks to our very fabulous new golf cart paths around the entire city!

Peeps sure loves Uncle Chad - but it's probably because he always has fun toys to play with and he's a tall as a tree so when he picks her up she can see everything!

Papa's Pride

What is it about loud, fast, American Made Muscle Cars that always get to a girl?

Payton is no different - she loves to sit in Papa's car and rev it up. Must be something about the way it vibrates you all the way to your soul and the power you feel when you are in a fast car.
Never mind that there is not a passenger seat yet - it's still a work in progress. Payton doesn't care one bit as long as she gets to sit in the "Caw"!

And the best part it helping to wash it! Ha Ha Ha - dad never got this kind of help from us so I guess he's training P right!

Easter Sunday

"For God so loved the world, the He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him." 1 Corinthians 15:16-20

Hippity Hoppity

The Easter Bunny's on His Way! And this is what he left!

A big basket just for Payton with lots of coloring books and finger paints (don't worry their color wonder finger paints) a bubble gun, sidewalk chalk and some treats!

400 EGGS

Mom and Dad were so sweet to let us have an Easter Egg Hunt at their house on Saturday. Drew cooked Barbecue (but that's a whole other post) and we had tons of sides - it was 'good eatin' as they say! But the fun part was watching all the kids! They played and played and played!

Until it was time to hunt for eggs! And boy were there a TON of EGGS! (This is Friday night after me and mom finished filling the last few - then everyone brought more)
Let the Great Easter Egg Hunt Begin!

With a little bit of help - Payton filled her basket up!

And Papa helped her reach the really high ones!

But she didn't really care how many eggs she found - she only cared how much candy Daddy was willing to let her eat!

It was a success - the kids had a great time and we are so glad that so many came!

And after all that hard work of finding all those eggs - it was time for a break !

Thanks again for coming guys - we had a great time!

Coloring Eggs

After some very patient instructions and help from Grammy - Payton was ready to give dying the eggs a try!

They filled each color with and egg and stirred them around and watched them turn colors. Payton likes to repeat colors after you say them but she can quite name them on her own yet.

The pulled the first round of eggs out of the dye and they looked fantastic. Or as Payton says "Pwetty"

Then it was time to load up the cups again for round two. Payton liked to put the eggs in and take the eggs out - no spoon needed! You should have seen her hands.
Good thing Grammy was so patient with her - we only ended up with 2 cracked eggs - which Payton decided to color anyway!
Payton was very cooperative and listened to the directions - and this is what her and Grammy ended up with! All in all I would say it was a success!
So successful in fact that Payton wanted to "eat" the "Pwetty Eggs"

Easter Party at the Park

The first of the Easter Festivities kicked off with Carsyn's school Easter Party at the Park. Peeps got to tag along too! The had a blast! What could be better then an Easter Egg Hunt at the Park!

They got to play and play and play!

Payton's favorite part of the Park is the slides - and always head first!
Then they had a picnic lunch - and Gigi was there too!

I bet it was a great day - Good Thing Mrs. Amy let's Peeps tag along to everything!

Because I don't know what she would think if she wasn't with the "Big" Kids!
